Q. What is the best finish?
A. We recommend a polyeurathane based lacquer.

Q. What glue is used to manufacture REDiboard?
A. Titebond Ultimate wood glue. An advanced proprietary polymer liquid which dries to a light brown, 52% solids, viscosity 4,200 cps and pH 2.5. This is formaldehyde free and environmentally friendly.

Q. How long has it been kiln dried and what is the final moisture content?
A. The timber in REDiboard has been air dried for up to 12 months and kiln dried for 3 – 4 weeks. The final moisture content is between 10 - 12%.

Q. Why are short lengths used in the manufacture of REDiboard?
A. To maximise recovery from the sawlog and better utilise the natural feature of the timber.

Q. What sizes is REDiboard available in?
A. Up to 1.2 meters wide and 4.5 meters long.

Q. Will REDiboard move?
A. As it is a natural timber product there may be minimal movement depending on weather conditions eg. humidity or extreme heat.

Q. Is it water resistant?
A. Yes it is if sealed to our specifications.

Q. How do I maintain REDIboard?
A. Once the product is sealed according to our recommendation it only requires a wipe with a damp cloth to maintain its beauty.

Q. Will the colour change?
A. As the timber ages it will develop a deeper colour.

Q. What makes this product different to other similar timbers
A. The look, sustainability, durability, solid, the beauty of Red Gum - ie. the feature of each piece is different.
