About Us

The Bonum Sawmills is owned and operated by The Rowe Family in Barham,
New South Wales AUSTRALIA.

For four generations and over 100 years, the Rowe Family have been involved in the harvesting, processing and manufacture of Australian Hardwoods, specialising in Eucalyptus camaldulensis (Red Gum).

As part of the growth of the business into value added products, The Bonum Sawmills have commenced slicing quality Australian Hardwood veneers. The flagship of the range is the beautiful and highly sought after Red Gum. Alpine Ash, Spotted Gum and other Native species are also available.

Environmental sustainability and accountability is an integral part of the family business. The Bonum Sawmills process only timbers sourced from ecologically sustainable plantation and regrowth forests.
The Bonum Sawmills are committed to product excellence. As part of this commitment, they control the manufacture of their veneer in house from the very early stages, including the harvesting of veneer quality logs, to slicing and drying and finally through to the last fine detail of preparation, packaging and dispatch.

The Bonum Sawmills currently employ over 25 people and are growing steadily.
