Kiln Dried
During the milling process, pieces of timber are selected for their quality, figure and natural feature. These pieces are put aside for kiln drying. This process involves the selected timber being carefully racked out and air dried for up to 12 months, after which it is put into kilns and dried until a consistent moisture content is reached.
